Woven Garment Consumption Calculator for Men’s Pant

What is the Woven Garment Consumption Calculator for Men’s Pants?

A Woven Garment Consumption Calculator for men’s pant is a tool used to estimate the amount of fabric needed to produce one dozen men’s pants. It calculates the consumption per dozen (CPD) based on the length, width, and marker width of the fabric required for making each pant.

The Formula:

CPD= L x W x 12 /Marker Width in Inch x 36 yds

How to Use the Woven Garment Consumption Calculator for Men’s Pant?

  1. Enter the length of the fabric required for one pant (in inches) in the “Length” field.
  2. Enter the width of the fabric required for one pant (in inches) in the “Width” field.
  3. Enter the marker width of the fabric (in inches) in the “Marker Width” field.
  4. Click the “Calculate” button to determine the consumption per dozen (CPD) in yards.
  5. Click the “Refresh” button to reset the calculator and enter new values.

Woven Garment Consumption: Men’s Pant

Waist 32″.

Thigh 25″→

Pant Length 40″

Hip 46″

Bottom (Seam Allowance = 2″)

CPD (Consumption Per Dozen) for Pant

==

-Length = 40″(Pant Length) + 2″(In Bottom Seam Allowance) + 2″(In Waist Band Seam Allowance)

 = 44″

-Width = 25″ (Thigh)+ 2″[Out Seam Sewing Allowance (1″ + 1″)] + 2″[In Seam Sewing Allowance (1″+1″)]= 29″ × 2 (Two Thigh) = 58″

Fabric Width = 60″, Marker Width = 58″

  • CPD (Consumption Per Dozen) for Pant

CPD= L x W x 12 /Marker Width in Inch x 36 yds

       =44 x 58 x 12 /58 × 36 yds

       =14.67 yds +7% Add for Wastage

        =14.67 yds + 1.03 yds

       =15.70 yds / dz

  • Fabric quantity depends on size measurement and fabric width for sewing garment (shirt).
  • 7% more fabric booking will be needed as wastage when garment (trouser) is calculated for sewing directly from fabric or 15% (big order 12%) more yarn booking will be needed as wastage when garment (trouser) is calculated for sewing from yarn.

Application of Woven Garment Consumption Calculator for Men’s Pant:

This calculator is essential for textile manufacturers, designers, and garment factories involved in the production of men’s pants. By accurately estimating the fabric consumption per dozen pants, manufacturers can optimize their fabric usage, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency, leading to cost savings and sustainable manufacturing practices.
